That is not as you may think thanks to the RA, in fact at the Sunny Tuscan hash the least we were expecting was temperatures above 0. Nor was it thanks to the hash cash who finally remembered, well to ask if it will be needed, or that most hashers appeared before 20:00, some did not show up at all!
No this is only thanks to "No Beer, No Pantie". Who is that? Well you did miss much.
The hash was set by Hannah, helped unnecessarily by Stevie Blunder. It meandered through the back streets of Eastern Milan, an area not touched much. There was not much happening till the beer stop, that is apart from the pack not checking out in the areas where the flour had not been laid, or complaining about not being able to follow the trail with the park gates shut.... No it all happened at the beer stop. The new symbol, a superbly designed champagne glass, which was missed by some distracted front runners, should have given some clues.
The beer stop was held at No Beer, No Pantie's house, where she prepared us some much needed Glühwein. This was accompanied by some biscuits which everybody asked if she had backed them too. It was then that we noticed a few changes in the hash. The friendly atmosphere, more women than men, warm drinks made by women (in the kitchen) that the thought suddenly came to me... Women really do make things better... we should have one as GM, instead of the one that stayed home because he was cold and tired from the run on the weekend!
Cosy at it was, we could have stayed there all night, or at least some of us would have wanted but were reminded that there was another Tuscan woman waiting for us so we set back to the restaurant. Because it was so cold and late we decided to hold the circle, closing song included, at the table knocking back gulps of Chianti.
This is where Hanna was christened, with wine because she does not like beer (the first part) and no Pantie because at the last hash she left them in someones car!
