Despite the fact that it was chucking it down last night we had quite a good turnout at our favourite back street Navigli pizzeria. Our former GM and Sofa made an appearance, back from an Interhash in Perth and we were quite happy to make use of their tracking/drinking skills.
After the confusion was cleared up regarding the run (live? , semi-live?, what are we doing here again?) we set off across the bridges and down the alleys of the canals.
Our new couchsurfing crowd proved up to the challenge, dutifully chasing down false trails and checks. Our front running bastards were a little too quick, thankfully and missed some of the turnoffs, allowing the normal folk to catch up.
Another dilemma, as half way through we had lost the trail. Consternation ensued... had it been wiped out by the rain, were we just too lazy to chase it down? Turns out that both cases were true, but more importantly we remembered where the beer stop was. This rendered the rest of the trail unnecessary.
Mercifully, Cindy Bear was cut off in the circle and it was short, cold and sweet.
Until next time... for Indian food near Chinatown in Italy
